Nepal is home to some of the world’s most thrilling zipline experiences, offering an adrenaline-pumping adventure against the backdrop of stunning landscapes. The Zipline is a popular activity that allows you to glide through the air, soaring over valleys, rivers, and lush forests, providing a unique perspective of Nepal’s natural beauty. One of the most famous ziplines in Nepal is located in Pokhara, where you can ride the world’s longest zipline, stretching over 1.8 kilometers with speeds reaching up to 120 km/h. This exhilarating experience is perfect for those seeking an exciting, high-speed adventure in one of the most scenic settings on earth.
Zipline in Nepal is an exciting outdoor ride recently introduced in Nepal. Currently, it is commercially operated in Pokhara between two popular tourist spots – Sarangkot and Hyangja village in a distance of 1.8 km. Travelers can enjoy the spectacular view of the dense forest, the majestic Annapurna Himalaya range, serpentine Seti river, and Tibetan refugee camp while zipping at a speed of 100 mph in 1.35 minutes. The ride ends with a break-activated landing on the High Ground Triangle in Hyangja village.
The Zipline, also called Zip Flyer is conceptualized and designed in the U.S.A using the most advanced technologies to maximize safety and comfort. It is the first of its kind not only in Nepal but in the whole south Asia and also considered to be the longest in the world.
